Chakra Meditation

A Chakra Meditation for You
Now that we've had an overview of your chakras,
it is time to combine that knowledge for
a simple chakra meditation.

This exercise will allow you to tune in and tune up
those chakras!

What do you need to get started?

You need a quiet space, a comfortable position, a receptive attitude, and focused attention.

Create your ambiance.
Will you be using essential oils?
Will you be listening to soothing music?

Once you and your atmosphere are settled...

Sit in your quiet space in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Disregard everyday thoughts.

Relax your muscles.

Take a deep breath in, slowly breathe out.

Let go of your thoughts.

Bring your focus to your root chakra.

Visualize the bright red circle at the seat of
your physical existence.

See it bringing energy up from the earth, through your feet,
into your legs,
and right into your root chakra.

Feel like a tree.

Grounded.

Say the sound oo as in the word loot.

Repeat oo as many times as you feel you need.

Take a deep breath.

Move up to your second chakra, your sacral.

See the vibrant orange gently circling and expanding.

Breathe into your sacral chakra.

Know that you are worthy of life's pleasures.

Say the sound oh as in the word mow.

Repeat oh as many times as you feel you need.

Breathe deeply.

Move up to the third chakra, your solar plexus.

This is your power center, circling a bright yellow.

Watch it gently circling and expanding.

Tap into your personal power.

Say the sound aw as in the word door.

Repeat aw as many times as you feel you need.

Another deep breath.

Now we move up into the center of your chest
for the heart chakra.

Breathe into your heart, seeing a beautiful green color.

Feel your heart chakra expand with love.

Connect with compassion and unconditional love.

It circles and swirls and is full of pure love.

Say the sound ay as in the word hay.

Repeat ay as many times as you feel you need.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe into your throat chakra,
right in the center of your throat.

See a beautiful cobalt blue color circling.

Open your throat chakra.

Visualize yourself journaling, singing, and
letting your creative self soar.

Say the sound eh as in the word feather.

Repeat eh as many times as you feel you need.

Another deep breath.

Now we move up into our sixth sense, the third eye.

Visualize the color violet, circling and cycling gently.
(To see the artist and purchase this mandala click here.)

Sense beyond, allow your intution to strengthen.

Listen to your inner voice.

Say the sound ih as in the word in.

Repeat ih as many times as you feel you need.

Breathe.

Move up through the top of your head, the crown.

See the white light of the seat of your connection to the divine.

Open your crown to Spirit.
Allow the universe to bring you energy
filling you with pure goodness.

Say the sound ee as in the word bee.

Repeat ee as many times as you feel you need.

When finished, take a few more deep breaths and ground.

Open your eyes slowly.

Take a few more breaths.

Greet the world!

Oracle of the Week~Faery~Spirit Dancer

Spirit Dancer
Explore~Express~Experiment

If anyone knows me, knows I detest morning.
I'd rather sleep through it.
However, every once in a blue moon there is something that pulls me out of my slumber and into the world.

Midsummer morning I was out of bed at 5:40am...
super duper early for me.

I wanted to greet the sun. I wanted to reclaim my power. I keep having moments where I feel depleted. All of my fire energy has been used up. My creativity has been pushed down into some black hole.

So, with all my might I left the house with my "ritual" package in hand. I took off for the Botanical Gardens with hopes of no one being there and having that corner gazebo all to
myself and the faeries.

I was full of coffee and full of anticipation.
I drove up to the gate...wait....the gate?
Yeah. Closed.
Closed?

Urgggh....it says open from dawn until dusk. It was past dawn.

I had seen people running on trails behind the gardens, so I knew there was a way in.

I drove around and I found a parking lot with a trail
going down into the woods.
"What have I got to lose? Who knows where I'll end up."

So I grabbed my ritual pack and my phone....just in case of crazy early morning trail danger...and off I went.

Right? Left? I let my intuition guide me and it
pulled me to the right.
I came to another fork in the trail and a voice whispered "left".

By this time I was breaking a sweat and
began breathing like Darth Vader.

Then my eyes lit up and all breathing returned to normal.
I noticed where I was....the field in the back
of the Botanical Gardens right by the gazebo.

Hells yes. The faeries did not let me down.

I had a beautiful and powerful ritual reclaiming my fire energy. Afterwards, I sat in silence.
I then drew a card from The Faerie Oracle.

I asked the faeries, "Who can help me feel inspired again?
Who will be with me on this journey?
Which one of you will be my guide?"

And I drew Spirit Dancer.

You've got to be kidding.
I felt like the faeries just smacked me upside the head.

I felt like the Universe was shouting at me...

"YOU SILLY SILLY GIRL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THE ANSWER IS YOU! IT IS ALWAYS YOU! LOOK INSIDE YOU! REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!"

I am The Spirit Dancer at my very core. I connect with her on a deep level. I am inspiration. I am creativity. I am exploration.

Thank you faeries for setting me straight...once again.

Almost always...the answers are inside you.

Oracle of the Week~Birds~The Crow

The Crow
Change

The Crow is here to bring you a message of CHANGE.

Change may be scary, but this is the kind of change that is necessary to grow and to expand.

Change is inevitable.

You need to recognize the signs that are coming in order
to begin to adapt to a new situation.

Crow advises you to go through the darkness
into the light.

Face your fears and move forward.

The Crow is caw-ing, saying you need change.

Do you really need more of a sign than that?

Make the change in your life that is necessary for you to move forward into your authentic self.

Thank you to my friend Cheri for allowing me to

The Mystic Inner Knowing is our crown chakra.
It is our higher self, our higher power.

The Crown Chakra is
 selfless service - spiritual unity - idealism - understanding - devotion - faith - stillness - oneness - the divine - bliss - peace - liberation - knowing - self-realization

An imbalanced crown chakra creates feelings of
despair, loneliness, and spiritual alienation.
The biggest block of your crown chakra is refusing to
believe in higher powers.

When the crown chakra is in balance
you live your life directed by Spirit.
A balanced crown chakra brings
wisdom and intelligence with an open mind.

You are present in the moment and connected to your spirituality.

There are many ways to heal and
balance the crown chakra.
You can try one or
combine many for more beneficial results.

  • Fast. Fasting opens us to self-knowledge.
  • Detox. Use herbs such as holy basil, ashwaganda, fo ti, and gotu kola. These herbs help us develop spiritual consciousness.
  • Take yarrow flower essence. Yarrow knits holes in your energy field.
  • Clear your head through cardiovascular exercise.
  • Spend time outside in clean air and sunshine.
  • Practice calmness.
  • Meditate focusing on your crown chakra.
  • Chant the sound sound "ee" as in bee.
  • Use crystals. Choose one and carry it with you. Meditate with it.
  • Use affirmations. I have listed eight excellent affirmations below for balancing your 7th chakra.
  • Use essential oils. Remember, oils are the souls of plants. This plant energy can help balance our energy.

Essential Oils for the Crown Chakra

Cypress essential oil brings balance and stillness. It encourages will power and wisdom.

Frankincense essential oil enhances enlightenment and connects the spirit with the divine.

Geranium essential oil restores a sense of harmony and equilibrium. It is considered to be a great balancer oil. Geranium instantly uplifts the spirit. When you need to reclaim balance, the soothing aroma of geranium brings your emotions back to more relaxing levels.

Lavender essential oil is a hug in a bottle. It soothes and calms, promoting natural balance. The essential oil of lavender is one of the most popular aromatic oils. Inhaling lavender essential oil calms your mind, body, and soul.

Myrrh essential oil is protection and spirituality.

Neroli essential oil invokes lightness, joy, regeneration, peace, and completeness.

Rosewood essential oil removes other’s influences and thoughts bringing us back to our true selves. Now we can implement the changes we need to make to fulfill our authentic being. It reminds us to be ourselves and live in the moment.

Sandalwood essential oil brings a deep state of relaxation that takes place on the spiritual level. It increases devotion and awakens intelligence. Sandalwood increases a sense of peace in meditation and prayer.

Affirmations for The Crown Chakra

I tune into the union with my Higher Power.

I am starting to accept myself as I am, with love and gratitude.

I cease to limit myself intellectually and in my creativity and connect my spirit to the Source of all knowledge.

I am a unique, radiant, loving being.

I choose to live my life from a place of love and contentment.

I choose to transform my life and become free.

I release all limited thoughts and lift myself up to ever higher levels of awareness.

I am who I am and glory in that.
