Moving up from the root chakra we find
our 2nd chakra, the sacral.

Located at the lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel, the sacral chakra is connected to
pleasure, desires, sexuality, and our well-being.
It represents our ability to connect with others
and is the seat of our emotions.
Represented – a lotus of 6 petals
Color - orange
Element – water

- Eat oranges, cantaloupes, and carrots. Nuts are a good sacral chakra food, too.
- Drink plenty of liquids.
- Wear orange clothes.
- Be creative! Take on a hobby and let out your inner artist.
- Use yoga postures such as cobra and pelvic tilting.
- Meditate focusing on your sacral chakra. Chant the sound sound "oh" as in the word mow.
- Use crystals. Choose one and carry it with you. Meditate with it.
- Use affirmations. I have listed six excellent affirmations below for balancing your 2nd chakra.
- Use essential oils. Remember, oils are the souls of plants. This plant energy can help balance our energy.

Orange essential oil is comforting. The smell of orange brings a positive outlook. It is warming, refreshing, and uplifting.

Rosemary essential oil stimulates and helps us tune back in to our life’s true path. It boosts our confidence getting rid of gloom and apathy. Rosemary essential oil uplifts the heart and the mind bringing light to dark. It also expands the mind’s ability in seeking and finding answers.
Ylang Ylang essential oil opens and centers us. It soothes and entices, bringing us the gift of a peaceful paradise. Ylang ylang essential oil unifies from the inside out allowing us to feel self confident and good all over. It has a highly sensuous aroma that makes us feel all warm inside.
