K is for Kuan Yin Oracle Deck - Pagan Blog Project

Kuan Yin Oracle

Last week's post was all about Kuan Yin.

You know that I love her.

She continues to inspire me daily.

When I saw the Kuan Yin Oracle deck,
my heart grew 3 times bigger,
and I knew I was meant to have it.

I love this deck.

I took the cards with me on my solo retreat a couple of weekends ago. I sought wisdom from the oracle.
Each time I pulled a card it was
exactly what I needed to hear/know at that moment.

The oracle card chosen on my 1st morning by the river,
"Nectar of the Lotus",
really hit the spot.

"The Divine Mother wishes that
those who are meant to feed others be well fed too!

Your devotion to helping others
has the effect of squeezing the
cosmic heart chakra of the Divine Mother.

From her heart drips nectar, sweet,
sustaining, life-affirming energy
that feeds you and allows you to nourish many souls.

Like a sacred chalice that overflows,
when you are full, well and vital,
the feeding of others happens effortlessly.

You are guided to be fed now, fed with Divine Nectar from the Heart of the Mother."

And that's exactly what I did on my retreat.

Prayer of the Lotus Nectar
"Beloved Kuan Yin,
help me realize the connection to myself and to life,
that I need to be able to live my highest vibrational life,
where I am well, replenished, joyful, and
connected to the endless flow of divine energy
and life force in our Universe.
Please bring me clear guidance about
how to best cultivate chi now,
how to be open to receive the Nectar of the Lotus,
the life force and love of the Divine Mother,
for my highest good,
so be it.
Om Mani Padme Hum."

K is for Kuan Yin - Pagan Blog Project

There are quite a few Goddesses I connect with.

The one that tugs at my heart
and I yearn to be like is
Kuan Yin.
Kuan Yin Art Project Creation
Kuan Yin is the
Chinese Goddess of compassion.
She is a bodhisattva - which basically means
she achieved enlightenment,
but chose to forgo nirvana in order to save others.

I strive to be like Kuan Yin.

Kuan Yin is compassion
She is patience. She is love
She is kindness. She is empathy.

Kuan Yin helps people be the best they can be.

I totally get that.

I feel that is my calling.

I help others discover their authentic path.

I was born to be a life coach.

When I'm coaching, it's as natural as breathing.

My favorite part is watching the light bulb
going off over someone's head
as they are talking with me.

I can help with those AHA moments.

Kuan Yin wants the best for everyone,
and so do I.

Let's make magick together.

The Magick Muse

Back in November 2007, I started going through some marketing business books for my "future".

I wanted my own business.

I saw myself selling my inspirational necklaces
and intention candles.

I did some of the exercises prompted in the books.

I thought. I reflected. I envisioned.
I wrote out my visions
and inspirational words that tug at my heart.

I had forgotten about all that.

I recently stumbled across that book.
I was reading through my notes.
Notes I wrote on November 3, 2007.
Notes from over 5 years ago.

I came across this...
November 3, 2007

Since I had my epiphany of being a life coach, I have been talking nonstop about how I would like to be like Kuan Yin,
the Goddess of Compassion.

I recently created a mixed media art project with her and
my life coaching business in mind.
My True Intentions Project
I shared it in my blog on January 15. You can read it here.

So, here I've been...thinking about Kuan Yin...wanting to incorporate her into my biz...
when I had that same idea over 5 years ago.

5 years ago I was onto something...
but it wasn't quite there yet.

This innate desire to help others just as she did,
 has always been with me.

It is time.

Now my vision is more clear.

Through my journey I have become
