Justice

I am the law of truth

the path of integrity

preserver of the code

and in my heart justice lives

I weigh all deeds against

my feather of truth

I weigh all deeds

and should they prove the heavier

then I give the lessons

I create the opportunities

I open the pathways

I graciously bestow

that which needs to be learned

to right all wrongs

Now is the time to look at your life and invite justice in.
It is time to repay all debts, to strike a fair and reasonable
BALANCE in all your dealings.

Maat says that the way to wholeness lies in accepting the loving nature of justice which seeks to right all wrongs by administering the lessons needed.

Thanks on Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite weekend out of the year. I never plan anything.
It's a four day weekend filled with lots of food and lots of relaxing.

I dig it.

I am filled with gratitude and am truly thankful for many things.

I'm thankful for:
  • finding the right job for me
  • having my Asheville crafting debut at the Charlotte Street Petite
  • getting back into candle and jewelry making
  • Asheville new friends
  • all my old friends
  • my freakin awesome boyfriend, who knew love really was grand?
  • my freakin awesome boyfriend's nuts
  • my passion for life coming back to me
  • my plans to join a fitness club on December 5
  • my cozy home
  • Mulder, my car
  • Faeries
  • midnight Cookout runs with Chris
  • lazy Sundays
  • herbal magic
  • good wine
  • Beer City USA
  • music
  • words
  • the moon and the stars
  • sex and candy
  • lava lamps
  • electric blankets and flannel sheets
  • finding a new groove

What are you thankful for today?
Think of at least 5 things you are thankful for and share with someone.

"Each day begins with a prayer of “Thank you,” which are the first words out of my mouth as I awaken."

Anger & Rage

I burn and fume

and shoot daggers from my eyes

I erupt and roar

(though you've not pulled my tail)

my edges are sharp

and I cut deep

my energy is strong and fierce

and my displeasure

needs to be expressed

Through sometimes mild

I can be very intense

Once incited

I am difficult to put out

I am always appropriate

always needed

Don't try to get rid of me

I need to be acknowledged and heard

I am anger

By Amy Sophia Marashinsky

**************************************************************************

I pulled this card the other day...and I thought "Wow, hmm...I'm not angry."

Now I am pissed.

I'm so done with some things. I am feeling my anger.

It's okay to be angry. I own this feeling.

I have expressed my anger and I feel good.

"Sekhmet says our anger is part of our power as women.
Don't give away your anger. Learn to express it in a way that it can be heard.
Learn to transform it so it empowers and energizes you.
Your path to wholeness will be more vital when you make anger your ally."

Shape Shifting

I dance from form to form

I shift from shape to shape

ever changing

ever expanding

ever becoming

I am flexibility

for by changing my form

I freely flow with all that comes my way

I am consciousness

for by shifting my shape

I gain an expanded awareness of what it is to Be

I waltz a whirlwind

tango a tree

salsa a swan

or just plain fox-trot

My dance is an affinity with All

for I am able to become All in order to know All

Becoming All dissolves form

Knowing All creates Oneness

The illusion is that you have a separate shape

Learn to shape shift.

Enhance your flexibility.

Experience the whole of creation.

My Intuition Guided Me To A Better Job

There are no happier people on this planet than those who decide
that they want something,
define what they want,
get hold of the feeling of it even before its manifestation
and then joyously watch the unfolding as,
piece by piece by piece, it begins to unfold.

That's the feeling of your hands in the clay. - Abraham Hicks

On September 2, I quit my job. I've never just quit my job before.
Well..I quit my job in Illinois when I moved to Florida...and I quit my job
in Florida when I moved to North Carolina...but I've never just quit my job and had no plan.

Me without a plan?

It was scary. It was exhilarating. It was incredible.

I felt it was the right thing to do. I had to get out of a horrible situation.
There had to be something better for me.
I deserve a healthy work environment!

The first week after I quit, I worked on me.
I worked on my creations. I worked on rebuilding my soul.
I worked on figuring out what I really wanted.

Sunday, September 11, I tapped into the energies of the Full Moon.
I spoke to the Universe and declared my desires.
I even gave a time limit. I said by the New Moon,
I would have my new fabulous job.

I will say, it was a stressful couple of weeks. Finding a job and especially the "right" job is freakin' hard work. I sent out resume after resume.
I spent so much time, so much energy putting myself out there.

And one morning I got the phone call. I answered a Craigslist ad that ended up being someone I know.

Someone that needed an assistant.

And as I requested, I started my job the day before the New Moon.

Smiles.

I have a great feeling about this job. I am working for a holistic physical therapist. He has a kind, gentle soul. I will get to interact with patients and help perform manual therapies on them.

I get to watch people heal.

I am most excited about this opportunity.
I am finally at peace with my employment.

It feels good.

I really believe, if you want something, you can get it.

Be specific, put it out there.

You always get what you ask for.

Trust your instincts.
Intuition doesn't lie.
